We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team as a Mobile Surgical Technologist Specialist. Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for working in a fast-paced operating room environment, assisting surgeons during surgical procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to hospital policies and protocols.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a focus on patient safety and well-being.
- Prepare and maintain operating rooms, equipment, and supplies according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, inventory management, and sterilization processes.
- Promote a culture of teamwork and open communication within the healthcare team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years of recent experience in a similar role, preferably in a travel nurse setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- A strong commitment to upholding high standards of patient care and safety.
- Flexibility to adapt to new environments, priorities, and situations.
