About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Lead to join our team at Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope. As a CNC Lead, you will be responsible for directing departmental performance measures, providing leadership, and ensuring the efficient operation of our milling and multifabrication CNC equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct departmental performance measures with Supervisor, including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to Supervisor.
  • Assume responsibilities in the absence of the Supervisor in regards to the production line, except for hiring, discipline, and discharging of employees.
  • Operate all milling and multifabrication CNC equipment.
  • Interpret work orders and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
  • Ensure proper machine adjustments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 3 years machining experience.
  • 3 years experience as a CNC operator.
  • HS Diploma or the equivalent.
  • Technical school or apprenticeship program a plus.
