This position involves working within a dynamic production environment, supporting various developmental and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in a fast-paced production setting, assisting with development, clinical trials, and product launches.
- Execute manufacturing tasks under general supervision, adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct in-process sampling and operate analytical instruments as required.
- Perform cleaning and sanitization of both small and large-scale production equipment.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to ensure operational efficiency.
- Initiate and document quality reports as necessary.
- Assist in drafting and revising operational documents, including SOPs and Manufacturing Procedures (MPs).
- Support the review of documentation related to assigned functions, such as equipment logs and batch records.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Biology or Life Sciences is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing or operations is preferred.
- Must possess mechanical aptitude and an understanding of equipment repairs.
- Experience in the setup, cleaning, and sanitization of various manufacturing equipment is essential.
- Proficient in preparing buffers and media according to defined manufacturing procedures and SOPs.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documentation and a commitment to safety and compliance is necessary.
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment, equipped with appropriate safety gear.
- Willingness to perform a variety of tasks on the manufacturing floor, including those in the Production Supply Area and cleaning systems.
- Must be compliant with GMP standards.
