Program Therapist

Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Program Therapist to join our team. As a Program Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in team treatment meetings to represent the therapeutic needs and goals of assigned patients.
- Perform psychosocial assessments on assigned geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans using clinical information provided through the multidisciplinary assessment process.
- Meet with patients to discuss treatment plan goals, define discharge criteria and plans, complete family sessions, and assess level of patient risk.
- Provide daily group therapy to geriatric, adult, and adolescent populations as scheduled.
- Serve as a liaison between team members and involved social service agencies and ensure a clinically appropriate aftercare plan is in place.
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field preferred.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Illinois as a mental health professional or in the process of obtaining a mental health license or in a master's program in the mental health field.
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; and have strong clinical assessment skills preferred.
- CPR certification and management of aggressive behavior training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
- Competitive salary range of $56,000-$67,000 annually.
