Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at North Oaks Health System. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with operational functions, such as scheduling and data collection, and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Participate in professional development activities, including committee meetings and in-service programs, to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current LA RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Proficient in computerized systems, including EPIC, HBOC, and Hill-Rom Composer system.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in surgical services, critical care, or telemetry.
  • Knowledge of computerized systems, including AYS, PAR Excellence, and Pyxis.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
