We are in search of a Software Release Management Specialist to assist the Configuration Management team within the OCIO-PM Service Transition group. This position entails evaluating software and database architecture, ensuring comprehensive documentation, and enforcing configuration management practices throughout system life cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, assess, and sustain software systems and applications
  • Evaluate software and database architecture for optimization opportunities
  • Ensure thorough documentation for all developed software and databases
  • Establish and uphold configuration baselines while conducting change control and configuration audits

Essential Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years' experience with a Master's degree, or 9 years' experience with an Associate's degree, or 10 years' experience with a High School/General Education Development diploma
  • Proficient in developing Configuration Management Plans
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Active DoD GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) certification
  • Possess an active Top Secret clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI clearance
