Job Title: Solar Electrical Journeyman

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Solar Electrical Journeyman with a strong background in industrial electrical work. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field and be able to lead and train others on solar electrical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct DC and MV terminations, energization, and other electrical activities
  • Work with conduit and splicing
  • Repair and maintain high voltage systems
  • Organize work and receive and study work orders
  • Read prints and layout work
  • Repair electrical problems by replacing faulty parts and components
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years of related experience
  • Trade or technical school certification/diploma
  • Apprentice aptitude test
  • Union specific training (if applicable)
  • Current driver's license
