Job Summary:
The Production Support C will play a key role in ensuring the efficient processing of work in accordance with a production plan, promoting high-quality output, and driving continuous improvement in the production area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete work orders and build in accordance with priority and standard routing and instruction.
• Minimize downtime during processing and lead efforts to minimize downtime caused by line change-overs.
• Replenish and make item subassemblies when signaled.
• Promote and deliver high-quality output by ensuring trained operators perform the work and put production on hold for quality issues.
• Motivate and hold individuals and the team accountable for quality, meeting quality objectives for the product/line.
• Adhere to L3Harris Manufacturing System process standards, including productivity tracking, quality control plans, leading Standard Work, Kamishibai Process Control/TPM, and other quality initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement by encouraging just-do-it improvement, using the yellow action list to address issues, and driving waste elimination.
• Ensure system integrity through production scans, quality data, defect entry/troubleshoot inputs, inventory transfers, and timecards.
• Help the team communicate, ensure adherence to all company policies, and be the point of contact for production issues/concerns.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with J-STD001/IPC7711 is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and attention to detail/high quality are essential.
