About the Role

THERAPY 2000, a leading provider of pediatric healthcare services, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team in North Houston. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care to children in need of speech therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech therapy evaluations to determine patients' needs for therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.
  • Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs.
  • Act as a vital member of patients' medical neighborhoods, coordinating care with various providers and disciplines.
  • Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, and other paperwork as needed.
  • Participate in regular meetings with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
  • An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
  • Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience in a home-health setting.
  • Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
