We are committed to delivering compassionate and personalized treatment programs tailored to support those experiencing substance use disorders. JOB OVERVIEWThe licensed clinician will be tasked with delivering mental health and substance abuse counseling services to clients in an outpatient environment. This role includes the timely completion of all necessary documentation as mandated by the agency, regulatory authorities, and managed care organizations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: intake forms, psychosocial evaluations, treatment history documentation, treatment planning, session notes, discharge summaries, aftercare plans, and billing and insurance authorizations. Ensure continuity of quality care through effective documentation and communication with collaborative providers and agencies. Facilitate referrals for alternative levels of care as necessary. Serve as an advocate for clients to coordinate essential services or address urgent issues during crisis situations. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards. Conduct quarterly reviews of client progress and adjust treatment plans to align with evolving treatment goals. QUALIFICATIONS This position necessitates a foundational understanding of substance use disorders and mental health counseling. Master's Degree in counseling, social work, or a related health field, along with an Independent LCMHC, LADC, or LICSW credential. A minimum of one year of experience in the substance misuse treatment sector. At least one year of experience in the mental health counseling field. Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team. Experience in providing individual, couples, and/or group counseling to diverse populations. Strong verbal, written, and computer skills; familiarity with EMRs, MS Word, and MS Excel is preferred.
