Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
  • Diagnosing and addressing mechanical or electrical issues within vehicle systems
  • Following manufacturer specifications and dealership protocols for repairs and warranty services
  • Communicating effectively with service advisors and customers to clarify necessary repairs, while providing accurate time and cost estimates
  • Maintaining thorough documentation of services performed and recommending future maintenance
  • Keeping a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained
  • Engaging in continuous learning to stay informed about the latest vehicle technologies and industry advancements

What you will bring:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive service
  • ASE and GM certifications are beneficial but not required
  • Expertise in automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
  • Proficiency in utilizing diagnostic tools and interpreting diagnostic codes
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • The ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities
