Job Description


We're seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to provide education-based services to students in Cave Creek, AZ. As an ESE Teacher, you'll assess students' skills, develop tailored teaching plans, and work collaboratively with our dedicated multi-disciplinary team to foster life-long learning.



Responsibilities


Some key responsibilities for this role include:



  • Presenting lessons in a comprehensive manner, utilizing visual and audio aids to facilitate learning
  • Providing individualized instruction, promoting interactive learning and student engagement
  • Creating and distributing educational content, including notes, summaries, and assignments
  • Assessing and recording student progress, providing grades and constructive feedback
  • Maintaining a well-organized and tidy classroom environment
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and stakeholders, participating in regular meetings and discussions
  • Planning and executing educational activities, both in-class and outdoor
  • Observing and understanding student behavior, reporting any suspicions of neglect or abuse
  • Developing and enriching professional skills through ongoing training and professional development


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a teacher, with a strong understanding of teaching best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of legal educational guidelines, coupled with a willingness to follow school policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results

Job Type and Schedule


This is a full-time contract position, with an 8-hour shift Monday to Friday. As an ESE Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive school setting, with a focus on life-long learning and student success.



License/Certification
