We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Surgical Recovery department at Rio Grande Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery process for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Care for and manage surgical patients in the post-anesthesia period, applying the nursing process and critical thinking skills to deliver safe and effective care.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes and provide exceptional patient experience.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and supportive work environment.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Recovery Room setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork.
