Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Region Manager, the incumbent is responsible for implementing, evaluating, and sustaining major programs and maintenance policy in the Sutter/Sierra Region. The incumbent will advise and consult with top-level district and statewide management, propose new programs, directions or legislation as appropriate. A valid driver's license is required. The position is based out of the Sutter/Sierra Region Office located in Nevada City, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and evaluate major programs and maintenance policy in the Sutter/Sierra Region.
  • Advise and consult with top-level district and statewide management on program development and implementation.
  • Propose new programs, directions or legislation as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Working Conditions

The position is located in Nevada City, Nevada County. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Special Requirements
  • A valid California Drivers License (CDL) is required. You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a State-owned or leased vehicle.

Statement of Qualifications

A SOQ is a narrative discussion of how an applicant's education, training, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities meet the criteria below and qualify them for the position. Responses must be typed in Century Gothic 12-point font and cannot exceed two (2) pages in length.
