Cell and Gene Therapy Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cell and Gene Therapy Business Development Manager to join our team at Lifelancer. This role will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth in the cell and gene therapy market.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the cell and gene therapy landscape, as well as experience in account management and business development. They will be able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, identify business opportunities, and develop strategic plans to capitalize on these opportunities.
This is a remote position, and we are looking for a candidate who can work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development and account management, and will be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth in the cell and gene therapy market
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and investors
- Identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans to capitalize on these opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of business strategies
- Provide regular updates to management on business progress and areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years' commercial or clinical experience, including previous account management and/or first line people management experience in the Biotech, Device, Laboratory, or specialty field sales environments
- Strong understanding of the cell and gene therapy landscape, as well as experience in business development and account management
- Proven track record of success in business development and account management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
