DGR Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our network engineering practice, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge enterprise networks that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discussions to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Design, implement, and transition firewalls, switches, access points, and other network solutions.
  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, VPN, firewall, and VoIP equipment.
  • Develop and maintain technical deliverables, including network assessments, capacity planning, and detailed design documents.
  • Engage in peer review sessions to aid fellow engineers in optimizing the quality of their deliverables.
  • Perform root cause analysis of critical outages and incidents.
  • Maintain up-to-date industry certifications.

Requirements

  • Culture fit with strong internalization of DGR Systems LLC's core values.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with network solutions.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with network switches and access points.
  • Professional or Expert level network certification is required.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN administration and concepts, including DHCP, DNS, VLANs, NAT, wireless technology, and the ability to configure switches.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining SD-WAN is highly desired.
  • In-depth understanding of network engineering, security (endpoint and network firewall) architecture and design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to author and follow defined processes and procedures.
  • Ability to create network diagrams and detailed design and implementation documentation.
  • Ability to architect, design, and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN network solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying multi-site environments with VLAN, MPLS, SSL, IPSEC connection points.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a broader team to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to follow defined methodologies to ensure a successful outcome of delivery engagements.
  • Up-to-date understanding of modern security threats and defense methods.
  • Able to clearly communicate detailed technical concepts in both oral and written formats.
  • Thorough understanding of modern routing and switching technologies, including cloud networking concepts.
  • Proven track record in guiding clients through the evaluation and selection of technical solutions to address business requirements in a consultative manner.
  • Must be willing to travel when needed.
