Job Description
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at High Plain Elementary School. As a key member of our educational support staff, you will work closely with licensed Speech/Language Pathologists to provide high-quality services to students with communication disorders.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide speech and language development services to students with communication disorders
* Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement communication systems and approaches that maximize student growth
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians
* Participate in IEP evaluation meetings as required
* Prepare narrative progress reports on students with communication disorders
* Perform other duties related to the program as required
**Qualifications**
* Degree from an accredited program in speech/language and hearing disorders or communication disorders
* Experience working with children with moderate and severe communication disorders
