Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Director to lead our warehouse and operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of our local branch, including customer service, receiving, shipping, warehousing, building maintenance, inventory counting and control, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the safety of your team and oversee the day-to-day operations of your local branch.
  • Implement safety protocols following State and Federal regulations.
  • Maintain constant communication with Senior Management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company.
  • Collaborate in the development, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols.
  • Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company's internal capacity.
  • Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget.
  • Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed.
  • Train employees on their duties and inventory system as appropriate.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of the operation.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years management experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal & written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate to Senior Management, vendors, customers, etc.
  • Results oriented, attention to detail.
  • Exceptional problem solving/decision making and analytical skills.
  • Excellent ability to be organized and to jump from priority to priority.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer knowledge and skills to utilize MS Office as an effective management tool.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to lift, push or pull and handle (10-50 pounds) as necessary to operation.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
