About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join US Foods, Inc. as a Logistics Coordinator - Food Distribution.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to coordinate logistics operations in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating trailer movement, staging shuttle trailers nightly for shuttle drivers, and ensuring all equipment is paired and ready for next-day deliveries. Additionally, they will work closely with dispatchers and warehouse supervisors to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate logistics operations in the warehouse, including trailer movement and staging

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Monitor and improve processes to optimize efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 6 months of experience in logistics coordination or a related field
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Ability to read and communicate in English fluently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
