As a Registered Nurse in our Surgical Trauma Ortho department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
- Coordinate care planning with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
- Participate in hourly rounding to ensure patient satisfaction and comfort.
- Observe safety guidelines and safe work practices to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- May be asked to assume charge responsibilities for a shift or multiple shifts.
- Supervise other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR certification.
- BSN degree.
- At least one year of acute care experience, with consideration for new graduates.
- Certification in a specialty area of practice.
