In this position, you will be responsible for deploying and removing various traffic control devices such as barricades, cones, signs, and warning lights. You will work closely with construction crews to establish safe working zones and guide traffic flow effectively.
Responsibilities:- Set up and remove traffic control devices according to established safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Communicate effectively with construction crews and other personnel to coordinate traffic flow and ensure safety.
- Inspect traffic control devices regularly for damage or wear and tear, reporting any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and compliance.
- Previous experience in traffic control is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented and dedicated to safety.
