Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduling, registration, patient pre-admission and admission, reception and discharge functions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Obtain complete and accurate patient demographic information, including insurance details and medical history.
  • Employ proper and compliant patient liability collection techniques to ensure timely payment.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a medical facility or health insurance setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
