The successful candidate will be responsible for completing all registrations of patients presenting for procedures, admissions, or the ER. This includes collecting and verifying demographic and insurance information to ensure accurate billing and identification of patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and be able to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify patient demographic and insurance information
- Process registrations and pre-registrations for patients
- Ensure accurate billing and identification of patients
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and co-workers
- Work effectively in a team environment to meet departmental goals and objectives
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in a patient access or registration role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems
Work Schedule:
- 4x10 hour shifts
- Monday, Thursday, Saturday 9:00am-7:30pm with a 30-minute break
- 30-minute break plus a couple 10-15 minute breaks throughout the shift
