Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate LifeSet Specialist to join our team at Youth Villages. As a LifeSet Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting young adults in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 8-10 young adults, providing individualized support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve success.
- Conduct weekly meetings with clients, adjusting frequency as directed by Clinical Supervisor, to monitor progress and provide ongoing support.
- Offer 24/7 crisis support to clients, providing prompt and accurate information during crisis situations and implementing recommended interventions in a timely manner.
- Participate in supervision sessions for effective treatment planning, collaborating with Clinical Supervisors to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Deliver therapeutic services following Youth Villages' Mission and Values, focusing on a strength-based approach to support clients' growth and development.
- Assess young adults' needs from a strength-based perspective, identifying areas of strength and potential to inform treatment planning.
- Involve clients and their support system in the treatment process, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Embrace a flexible schedule based on clients' availability, demonstrating a commitment to meeting the needs of our clients.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle with insurance, ensuring reliable transportation for client visits and meetings.
- Be willing to participate in mileage reimbursement for Community Based staff, demonstrating a commitment to supporting our clients in their communities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
- Master's degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Minimum one year of counseling or case management experience, with a proven track record of success in supporting vulnerable populations.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize client needs.
- Excellent communication abilities, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
- Basic computer proficiency, with experience using electronic health records and other software applications.
- Flexibility with work hours, with the ability to adapt to changing client needs and priorities.
