Patient Services Coordinator III

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Coordinator III to join our team at Novant Health. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment.
Key Responsibilities- Timely and accurately record patient demographics, insurance information, and patient charges.
- Schedule patient appointments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide cross-training in multiple administrative support functions.
- Utilize medical office software to update patient demographic information, post charges, and schedule patient appointments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One year of clerical experience in a medical office setting required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work with changing priorities.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority.
- Basic medical terminology required, with knowledge of EPIC systems and multiple payor billing requirements.
- Proficient in the use of all computer software utilized in the practice.
