We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
About the JobThe Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will work closely with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless operation of imaging procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities- Provide support for imaging technologists as needed
- Adhere to established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Cook, organize, and prioritize procedures to maintain high-quality patient care
- Assist radiologists or medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures
- Maintain exam rooms in a clean and organized state, adhering to Infection Control standards
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
- Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
