Responsibilities:
  • Deliver advanced technical support and coordination for end-user interfaces within a distributed computing environment, encompassing desktop systems, software, and hardware.
  • Conduct thorough analysis, diagnosis, installation, and resolution of intricate desktop computing, operating systems, application software, and hardware issues.
  • Manage remote access technologies, ensuring effective troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Oversee horizontal network cable management processes, including installation and modifications.
  • Provide expert technical input to the Desktop Services team, facilitating timely service delivery.
  • Work autonomously in the analysis, design, and implementation of desktop solutions tailored to business unit needs.
  • Act as a technical liaison among user groups and IT partners, addressing technical issues and product evaluations.
  • Collaborate with business units to comprehend the impact of support issues on operations.
  • Lead project analysis, design, and coordination for all technical aspects of desktop-related initiatives.
  • Coordinate schedules and instructions for contracted labor on installations and modifications.
  • Exhibit creativity and initiative in problem-solving.
  • Document hardware/software changes and updates.
  • Maintain and update the inventory database.
  • Manage and close trouble tickets and service requests efficiently.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a desktop support role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and analyzing PC hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server Operating System and domain-related administrative tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly versions 2007 and 2010.
  • Intermediate understanding of LAN environments and communication protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network system devices and client software.
  • Experience with audio-visual setup and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of printer maintenance practices.
