The Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine is tasked with executing PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures while upholding departmental standards in alignment with established Policies and Procedures. This role requires staying informed about the latest techniques and methodologies.

This position operates with limited supervision, independently conducting PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine assessments. The nature of the work necessitates a service-oriented professional. The procedures performed demand independent judgment, initiative, creativity, and strict compliance with radiation safety management protocols. Internal interactions primarily involve patient care personnel, while external communications include patients, families, physicians, and colleagues.

Qualifications:
  • BA or BS degree in a science or healthcare-related field is preferred.
  • Certification as a CMNT (NMTCB), ARRT (N), or equivalent, or registry eligible with the exam to be completed within one year of employment.
  • Certification with the State of Washington Department of Health.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) is preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of and/or experience in computerized tomography is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits:

As mandated by various pay transparency laws, we provide a competitive salary range for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $54.13 USD.

However, compensation is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, experience level, and certifications and/or education.

If this position is associated with a union contract, compensation will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale corresponding to the applicant's years of experience.
