Job Overview

Inland Imaging is seeking skilled Radiologic and Fluoroscopy Technologists to join our team. This role involves performing essential diagnostic imaging procedures while adhering to our established protocols and guidelines.

Position Summary: The Radiologic and Fluoroscopy Technologist is responsible for executing high-quality diagnostic radiography exams, including fluoroscopic procedures, under the supervision of a radiologist. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in patient care and technical skills to ensure optimal imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct General Diagnostic Radiography exams, including Fluoroscopy.
  • Prepare sterile trays for fluoroscopic-guided procedures.
  • Assist radiologists and mid-level practitioners during fluoroscopic examinations.
  • Administer oral and rectal contrast for fluoroscopic imaging.
  • Provide IV contrast for genitourinary studies.
  • Support non-radiologist physicians in fluoroscopic and C-Arm procedures.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety to achieve quality imaging outcomes.
  • Assist in lifting and positioning patients for x-ray exams with the help of staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
  • Participate in the transportation of patients as necessary.
  • Adapt to various shifts and locations as required.
  • Engage in the training of students in the Radiologic Technologist educational program.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging in diverse settings, including operating rooms and portable units.
  • Operate C-Arm equipment in various medical units.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Role:

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program is essential.
  • Experience: One to three years of relevant experience preferred; familiarity with anatomy and medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Licensure: Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist licensure is mandatory.
  • Certifications: Must maintain ARRT (R) certification.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in various computer applications is highly desirable.
  • Drug Testing: Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
