Job Title: Tax Manager

Our company, Jobot, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax compliance, tax accounting, and corporate tax.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, and ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax advisory services to clients, including advising on tax planning strategies, tax implications of business decisions, and potential tax savings opportunities.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring all tax-related items are accurately reported and in compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular tax research to stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure the company is in compliance with all applicable tax laws.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related items.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings.
  • Review tax returns prepared by other team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance, tax accounting, tax advisory, and corporate tax.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and the ability to apply this knowledge to various tax situations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax information and provide tax advisory services.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and other financial software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
