Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter swaps.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical issues in vehicle systems.
  • Follow manufacturer's guidelines and dealership procedures for repairs and warranty work.
  • Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain necessary repairs and provide accurate time and cost estimates.
  • Document all work done and provide future maintenance suggestions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on the latest vehicle technology and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
  • ASE and GM certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment and interpret diagnostic codes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
