We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Surgical Specialist to join our team as a locum tenens provider at a top-ranked hospital in Portland, OR. Job Highlights:

  • Competitive estimated salary range: $135,000 - $160,000 per year, based on industry standards and cost of living in Portland
  • Schedule: 7a-3p, 7a-5p, 11a-7p (Monday-Friday), with weekend coverage (7a-3p) on a rotational basis
  • Clinical and call responsibilities, with 24-hour call schedule and response time of 30 minutes
  • Patient demographics: 90% adults, 10% pediatrics; patient volume: 7+ (outpatient), 5+ (inpatient); admission rate: 2+
  • Hospital has lab, ultrasound, and X-ray on site, with Epic EMR system
  • Benefits include travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance coverage

Requirements:

  • Active OR license
  • BC certification
  • DEA certification
  • BLS and PALS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care surgery experience
