Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Insurance Account Representative. As a key member of our agency, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our clients and helping them achieve their insurance goals.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Insurance Education: Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options and help them make informed decisions.
  • Marketing and Sales: Work with our agent to establish and meet marketing goals, develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Requirements
  • Sales Experience: Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening - are essential for success in this role.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Enthusiasm about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams is a must.
  • License Requirements: A Property and Casualty license is required, and a Life and Health license is preferred.
