The Service Team Manager is a key position within PORTCO, responsible for driving business growth and development by leading and managing the service team. This includes Account Managers, Scheduler/Purchasers, and Pre-press Coordinators, as well as supporting the Sales and Service teams, partnering with production, and ensuring service quality and continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Develop and implement service policies, processes, and standards to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Team Management: Support, train, and mentor Senior Account Managers, Account Managers, and Schedulers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Customer Experience: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive customer experience, including resolving escalated customer complaints and complex service issues.
- Process Improvement: Create, implement, and support continuous improvements to ensure machine capacity, customer needs, and cost efficiency.
- Purchasing and Scheduling: Develop and implement purchasing plans, establish relationships with vendors, and leverage buying power to optimize business operations.
- Experience: 5+ years of customer service, purchasing, and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment, with 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Management or a related field.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decisions.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM and scheduling software.
