Transit Coordinator

Benzie Transportation is seeking a highly skilled Transit Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our transportation services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our transit services, including dispatching, scheduling, and customer service. They will also work closely with our Operations Supervisor to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of our transit services, including dispatching, scheduling, and customer service.
• Work closely with our Operations Supervisor to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with our customers, stakeholders, and colleagues.
• Use analytical skills to identify trends and patterns in our data, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our operations.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Meets Federal and State DOT drug/alcohol testing requirements.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with mapping programs preferred.

Estimated Salary: $17.50-$20.00 per hour.
