Medical Records Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled Medical Records Technicians to join our team at STGi, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Medical Records Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Prepare, update, and maintain medical records for each patient, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Maintain appointment systems for patients and clinical staff, tracking compliance with scheduled appointments and making timely reminders as needed.
- Determine coding for relevant medical record forms from appropriate references.
- File and scan laboratory, radiology, and other reports in the electronic medical record within prescribed timeframes.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting as a medical record technician, medical record clerk, unit secretary, or similar position.
- Ability to pass a federal government security background check.
- Ability to walk unaided for up to 10 minutes and maintain balance.
- Ability to respond to medical emergencies within 4 minutes, requiring fast walking or jogging.
- Ability to perform CPR/emergency care standing or kneeling.
- Ability to lift, push, or carry 30 pounds.
