Job Summary

The Credentialing Specialist at Hendrick Health is responsible for ensuring the credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging processes for all medical providers are completed accurately and efficiently. This includes maintaining up-to-date data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems, as well as ensuring timely renewal of licenses and certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the credentialing process for medical providers, including gathering and verifying documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of provider credentials in credentialing databases and online systems.
• Ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications for medical providers.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve credentialing and privileging issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in provider credentialing or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of provider credentialing processes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
