Certification Requirements

Position Overview

The role involves executing a range of specialized technical procedures utilizing the CT scanner and MRI equipment. The position demands a medium to very heavy physical workload, including the lifting and transferring of patients weighing between 100 to 300 lbs. The technologist must be capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively with patients, medical staff, and physicians.

Job Qualifications
  • Must hold ARRT registration in CT and/or MRI.
  • Must possess a valid Oregon state license.
  • Qualifications and experience must meet the standards set by the department director and lead technologist for operating equipment and assessing acquired images.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Work Schedule
  • One technologist will cover 8-hour shifts from 3 PM to 11:30 PM.
  • Call rotation includes four weekdays one week, with weekends off, followed by four weekdays off and on the weekend.
Additional Information
  • Experience with GE CT equipment is essential.
  • Housing options are limited for those with pets. Special housing arrangements must be made prior to placement.
