Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at White-Wilson Medical Center. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, a strong understanding of medical procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment and assist providers during patient examinations and treatments.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Observe and record patient vital signs and reactions to medications.
  • Perform point-of-care testing and venipuncture as needed.
  • Coordinate patient referrals and scheduling of procedures.
  • Provide patient education and respond to phone calls and messages.
  • Maintain exam rooms and ensure cleanliness.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
  • Active MA certification or registration (can be obtained within 6 months of employment).
  • American Heart Association recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position in an outpatient medical business office setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule, including some overtime as approved in advance.
