Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate accurate information regarding our owner operator program to potential recruits, ensuring adherence to company standards and providing proactive solutions to aid in driver retention.
  • Provide a clear picture of potential cash flow and related expenses associated with starting a small trucking business, including routine maintenance, insurance, and other costs.
  • Create a high level of professional customer engagement and outstanding customer service by utilizing all available tools and programs.
  • Proactively identify and address potential customers by tracking and notifying drivers of approval, trucks available, and other relevant information.
  • Adeptly identify and resolve potential problems that can prevent exceeding customer and/or company expectations during the contract process, while providing error-free execution of all documents required to contract a truck.
  • Develop an intimate knowledge of all suites of services available to assist with identifying possibilities to provide the best possible solution to our owner operators.
  • Conduct adult-to-adult conversations to develop a strong, trust-based relationship with owners, potential owners, and coworkers.
  • Relentlessly sharpen your own skills and performance, prioritizing work to be accomplished while building the highest levels of business acumen and commitment to excellence.
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in customer relations or business advisory in the trucking industry.
  • Basic understanding of marketing and small business management.
  • Associates degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Good understanding of MS Office Suite.
