Location:
Remote or On-site

Salary:
$60,000 per annum

Work Hours :
Monday-Friday, Business Hours with occasional evenings. Part Time- 16-20hrs/ wk

Responsibilities:


Deliver personalized nutrition education and support to individuals newly diagnosed with diabetes, empowering them to manage their condition effectively.

Provide tailored culinary education, demonstrating the preparation of healthy meals to manage diabetes.
Collaborate with Amazon Fresh to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to clients as part of their nutritional management.
Guide clients in healthy grocery shopping, offering practical tips and curated food lists to support their dietary needs.
Monitor and document patient progress, providing necessary feedback during follow-up sessions.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and Amazon Fresh to create holistic care plans for clients.
Participate in community events and nutrition education programs as required.

Qualifications:
Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
Proven experience working as a dietitian, ideally in a community or home-based setting. Experience in diabetes management is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships with clients of diverse backgrounds.
Knowledgeable in creating diet plans and providing culinary education.
Ability to travel to clients' homes within a reasonable distance.
Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Special Requirements:
Familiarity with diabetes nutrition management.
Ability to demonstrate cooking techniques and provide culinary education.
Strong passion for community health and nutrition.
