Job Title: Service Technician

At Spark Talent Acquisition, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel extensively (at least 80% of the time) to customer sites to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of our products to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Provide training to operators on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and engineering, to ensure seamless support and issue resolution.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in service work, machine building/assembly/manufacturing, and demonstrated craftsmanship.
  • Proven customer-focus attitude, with the ability to follow up and keep promises reliable.
  • Computer proficiency in basic MS Office skills to generate reports.
  • Literacy and reading of structural, electrical, and mechanical blueprints.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable to rent vehicles and/or fly to sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge or experience with understanding the interface of input and output devices, including relay-based and PLC-based control packages.
  • Strong presentation skills for training.
  • Experience driving in various weather conditions and city, mountain, and highway roads.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to unpleasant odors.
  • Physically demanding work, often performed in dirty locations.
  • May require weekend travel and/or working on holidays.
