Job Summary:The Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with physicians in the hospital-based inpatient setting, caring for critically ill and injured patients in the ICU or progressive units, including trauma, neonatal, inpatient cardiology, emergency room, and surgical services.
Responsibilities:- Perform invasive procedures and make high-level clinical decisions independently.
- Work in collaboration with physicians to provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Master's Degree in Nursing required.
- Current RN license and certification in a national certifying body (ANCC, AANP, etc.) required.
- Three to five years of clinical nursing practice in the acute care setting required.
- Full prescriptive authority within two years of employment required.
- Acute Care Certification required for those working in the critical care setting.
Variable work shifts and 40 scheduled weekly hours.
RMH Neuro Apps department.
