Nurse Practitioner Acute Care Specialist

Job Summary
Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner Acute Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing patients and developing plans of care, utilizing evidence-based practice and serving as a clinical expert for policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop plans of care
- Utilize evidence-based practice and serve as a clinical expert for policies and procedures
- Assist in the education and training of new and existing staff members
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and leverage technology to optimize healthcare outcomes
Qualifications
- Master of Science degree or equivalent provision
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio
- Maintains national certification as APRN in the appropriate population foci for the position, or PA
