Due to significant expansion, Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking a proficient Generator Technician to enhance their service division.

Key Responsibilities:
• Respond swiftly to client locations to troubleshoot and resolve urgent maintenance challenges related to generator systems.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and repairs on advanced diesel and natural gas generators from leading manufacturers.
• Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot issues with power generation equipment, including Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and generator controls (both AC and DC).
• Complete necessary documentation in a timely manner using company software, while effectively assessing and communicating the urgency of repairs.
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy during customer interactions.

Qualifications:
• A valid driver's license and proof of insurance eligibility are required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills related to diesel and/or natural gas engines, generators, and automatic transfer switches.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with power generation equipment from manufacturers such as CAT/Caterpillar, Cummins, Generac, and Kohler.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and readiness to respond to emergency situations as required.
• Basic computational skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader, along with the ability to utilize a laptop for service correspondence and ticket management.
