Histology Laboratory Specialist

As a Histology Technician, you will perform laboratory procedures, document quality assurance, and maintain equipment, instruments, and tools. A certificate program from a NAACLS accredited institution, such as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) program, is required. Certification eligible applicants with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) may be considered in lieu of licensure. Proof of eligibility is required upon hire. Certification for eligible employees shall be acquired within five years from date of hire. Certified Histotechnicians and Histotechnologists with ASCP may be considered in lieu of education.
