Pain Management Physician Opportunity
We are seeking a Pain Management Physician to join our team on a locum tenens basis. This is a great opportunity for a physician to gain experience in pain management and work with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive understanding of pain mechanisms, assessment techniques, and both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment options. They will also have proficiency in performing interventional pain procedures and be able to identify and resolve issues related to pain management treatment plans.

The estimated salary for this position is $175/hr - $200/hr, depending on the specific assignment details. This locum tenens position offers competitive pay and flexible schedules, allowing physicians to pursue diverse work environments and control their workload.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients experiencing acute or chronic pain, review medical history and perform physical exams to diagnose pain sources.
  • Design individualized treatment plans that may include medications, physical therapy and interventional procedures such as nerve blocks or spinal injections.
  • Perform pain-relief procedures, such as epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections and radiofrequency ablations.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust the plan as necessary, ensuring patient safety and the management of side effects.
  • Provide patient education about conditions, treatment options and post-care management strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
