About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Hazlet, NJ. This is a part-time position, working 3 days a week.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a team alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough patient examinations, including physical screenings and medical histories.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and circumstances.
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests, such as bloodwork, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
- Prescribe medication and administer treatment as necessary, working closely with patients to ensure they understand their condition and treatment options.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and address complex health issues.
Requirements:
- A valid NP license in NJ is essential, along with DEA licensure or the ability to obtain it.
- Experience with EHR medical charting systems and computer-based data management programs is highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA, is required.
