Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to conduct medical assessments for veterans.

About the Role

This role involves reviewing medical records, conducting comprehensive evaluations, and completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) without providing direct treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
  • Conduct thorough, non-treating assessments of veterans to document current health conditions.
  • Complete and submit DBQs based on VA-specific templates to capture all relevant medical findings.
  • Assess up to four veterans daily.
Schedule

1 day every other week, 1 day per month, or 2 half days per month.

Requirements
  • Active MD or DO license with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred.
  • Strong typing skills and attention to detail are essential.
