As an IT Application Integration Analyst at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, you will play a crucial role in integrating applications and technologies to improve patient care delivery systems.

About the Role

This is a competitive position that offers a salary of approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to work with our team to design, build, test, and implement Epic and third-party interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in planning, coordination, development, implementation, and maintenance activities related to integrating applications and technologies.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and system end-users to design, build, test, train, implement, evaluate, and maintain Epic and associated third-party interfaces.
  • Utilize a basic knowledge of Health Level Seven (HL7) interfaces, building, testing, and implementation.
  • Analyze and understand business problems; recommend solutions meeting organizational clinical and business systems maintenance goals.
  • Provide a secure, effective, integrated patient care delivery system that improves outcomes, reduces cost, increases efficiency, and enhances patients' experiences continually.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, IT management, software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, computer information systems (IS), applied engineering, health information management (HIM), health informatics, nursing informatics, nursing, health science, education, business administration, health care, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of directly related professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Epic Bridges integration configuration.
  • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)-like language.
  • Experience with HL7 message structure. Experience with Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) standards.
  • Journeyman knowledge of data exchange interfaces (e.g., building, testing, and implementing).
  • Knowledge of integration best practices.
  • Understanding of relational database management system (RDBMS) concepts.
  • Familiarity with hospital workflows.
  • Proficient in programming languages, integration standards, and data structures.
  • Proficient in at least one of the following: Python, C#, Visual Basic, or other object-oriented programming language.
  • Proficient in web services and application programming interface (API) technologies.
  • Ability to analyze/understand business problems and recommend solutions.
Work Environment
  • The ideal candidate will be onsite, but we are open to remote or hybrid arrangements for the right candidate.
